To be truly eternal design must be both global and local and both broad and focused. It must also reinvigorate the traditional into the contemporary and then reinterpret it for future generations.
Art, design and culture are one single enterprise. Science and technology enable a wider and deeper application and outreach.
Consciously or unconsciously I create living culture for everyday life.
History and heritage are the basis and inspiration for original, wearable, functional art and design that sum up the past and present, while innovation regenerates them for the future.
Harmony does not require symmetry. I do my utmost to balance designs/materials in terms of volume and tone rather than matching.
Living with culture is an ongoing human emotion and creative experience that should identify, inspire, innovate and implement in all the lives it touches.
